Guest Post – Why you need a shed for your garden

Modern houses are often packed onto lots without a whole lot of outdoor space. Gone are the days where you can expect to find a garage to come with your house, thus losing your trusty outdoor storage space. So what to do if you find every room in your house used up and no place to put all that stuff that you need, but don’t use everyday? Think tents, gardening supplies, outdoor play equipment – it’s all stuff you probably don’t want in the house but sometimes you are left with no other option.
Except maybe there is a solution to your problem! Having recently found myself with this same dilemma, I decided to do some research to find out if there was a way around it. Garden sheds cam up as the perfect solution to my problem! Not only are they affordable, but they come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours, like these ones from National Sheds. I only have a very small backyard, but we managed to fit a smaller sized shed in there where I can now keep all that useful stuff that sits in that grey area of need-but-not-every-day category. I keep all my poisonous gardening supplies up on a high shelf away from kiddy hands, have all my tools stacked and any camping stuff put away. Gardening has also become that little bit easier with all my supplies so easily accessible. It also looks really cute sitting in the yard where a planted a garden bed around it, I feel like a little bit of the simple country life has entered my little inner city backyard.
