Hi hon, thanks for advice. Crops, bums, undercarriage all ok, but a little slack on the old stools. I gave them some new mulch for the outside run the other day to sort out the mud….I think there may have been something in this. At present three hens under heat lamps in kitchen, looking FAR better than earlier (colour returned to wottles, the odd cluck), whilst just checked on other two who are asleep on roost (and not dead thank the lord!).

I guess I’ll re-asses in the morning and we have a 24hr veterinary hospnear here so if not better I’ll whip one down there and see if I can get some antibiotics for the flock

Haha, I know right. However, I think eating a bird which has died of unknown cause is not necessarily a great idea! I might be next!
