New Year, New .com
I can’t believe it because it really happened a bit out of the blue, but here we are, our own .com! The move has really been made to allow greater freedom with the layout (though I am FAR from a CSS geek so I’ve had to stick with a nice little template) and to add extra features. Plus, even after a few years, I used to forget about the blog.co.uk. Now its just theguidetogaygardening.com :O)
Firstly, a HUGE thanks to my new host iHostGreen who not only gave me a great deal but are very green friendly. Based in the UK, actually right near me in Essex, they are carbon neutral themsevles and go that extra step to make all their clients carbon neutral. So you can peruse the site to your little hearts delight, knowing that you’re not hurting the enviroment.
Meanwhile, I’ve added a little Gardening Calendar events page (top navigation bar). It’ll be a work in progress, but I’ve added a tonne of gardening fun for the year, some of which I’ll be attending, and I’ll be continuously adding to the ‘to do’ sections over the coming months.
Apart from that its pretty much business as normal. As soon as the snow melts I can actually get at that frozen allotment soil, start ebay bidding for some new chicken eggs and get cracking with the 2010 gardening year!
